This is the big day ! The Trimaran Remade-Use It Again left its home port of La Trinité-sur-Mer this morning to reach Saint-Malo, where the 11th edition of La Route du Rhum Destination Guadeloupe will leave on November 4th.

To achieve these 250 nautical miles, Romain Pilliard is accompanied by Roland Jourdain, Stanislas Delbarre and Robin Salmon, his technical assistant. The crew is expected tomorrow noon in Saint-Malo.

It's a moment we've been waiting for to leave our home port in order to get into the hard stuff. I know that St Malo is going to be a great moment of sharing, come and visit us, REMADE – Use It Again is the only Ultimate in the pool. For me it will also be a period of concentration before returning to my race.” says Romain Pilliard, the skipper of Remade-Use It Again who will be taking part in his very first Route du Rhum!
