What to do in case of injury?
With this training in first aid, it is also a training in all kinds of care that Romain and Alex have done.
Both of them were able to suture a very deep wound, with sutures but also with staples. Indeed, the advantage of being two on board is to be able to stitch without using staples (easier when you are alone on a Vendée Globe for example).
Alex and Romain redid the 1st aid gestures, cardiac massages...
They had to focus on this learning! A little reminder to be aware of the importance of all their gestures and movements on board to avoid injury.
