In a month, the dice will be rolled and the 123 skippers of the 11th edition of La Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe will set off from Saint-Malo for a 3,510-mile Atlantic crossing to Pointe-à-Pitre.

30 days from the start, Romain Pilliard, the skipper of the Remade-Use It Again trimaran, is sailing on to tame this 23-metre giant. And if the weather conditions are rather summery in La Trinité-sur-Mer, this is an opportunity to work on the manoeuvres, the changes of sail with a view in particular to one of the most important stages of the event: the start!
