At 14:00,Use It Again! team continues its journey to Cape Horn not without some small technical problems. Romain and Alex discovered yesterday a problem on their gennaker drisse (the front sail). The dream team immediately got to work and should be able to finish the repair in the day, the weather conditions being calmer in the coming hours. Mission of the day: climb into the mast a little more than 30 meters above sea level!
“"A bit of a painful end of the weekend for us! Gennaker's drisse almost broke, fortunately more fear than harm. There were turns between the drisses in the mast and this created abnormal wear, we managed to repair it but now we have to find a fixation at the head of the mast so that it does not happen again and have peace of mind for the rest of the course,”romain explains.
