Prologue start: Thursday 25/11

Initially scheduled for Sunday 28th November, the start of Romain Pilliard and Alex Pella's Prologue should be brought forward to this Thursday 25th November at midday. The trimaran Use It Again! will leave the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer, heading for Cadiz in Spain where the stand-by for the Westabout Round the World Record Attempt will begin.

This decision was taken this morning in consultation with Christian Dumard, meteorologist and router of the Use It Again! team and will be confirmed tomorrow, Wednesday 24 November.

“A first low is passing this week, our objective is to pass Cape Finisterre, just after it passes. After that, the period becomes very active and there is a strong risk that the lows will follow one another. We have to reach the port of Cadiz in Andalusia as soon as possible and then start our stand-by”explains Romain Pilliard.

After months of intense preparation and training to set off in the best possible conditions for this Westabout Round the World Record Attempt, a new phase of the challenge has begun for the crew of Use It Again!

See you tomorrow, Wednesday, on our website and on our social networks to find out more about the exact departure time. We are counting on you to come and encourage our sailors and share this first highlight with them on the dock in La Trinité-sur-Mer!
