Relaunch of USE IT AGAIN!

USE IT AGAIN is back in its element this Thursday after several months of construction in Hennebont to the delight of Romain Pilliard and his team. The Circular Economy and Ocean Protection Trimaran will return to its home port of La Trinité-sur-mer and resume training in preparation for the Upside Down Around the World Record in solitary, a new attempt postponed until fall 2025.

A fight to take on before tackling a new sporting challenge
TOUR DE BELLE-ILE, USE IT AGAIN project, Aurélie and Romain Pilliard have always carried out their projects as a couple and as a family accompanied by their three children. After having participated in two Route du Rhum (2018 & 2022), and completed a first World Tour in 2022 at the helm of the Trimaran USE IT AGAIN, Romain Pilliard, entrepreneur, activist and skipper of this legendary boat wants to reconnect with the open sea and adventure. Initially planned for the end of 2024, this new attempt at the solo Upside Down World Tour Record has been postponed until 2025. Indeed, for several months, Aurélie and Romain have been fighting together a difficult fight against illness, hence the absence communication around the project in recent weeks. A new test which does not taint their determination to pursue their lifelong conviction: working via the circular economy to find another path, preserving our resources and thus our future on the planet without putting aside performance and challenge. human.

Resumption of training in Quiberon Bay
The month of August will be devoted to test and adjustment sailings in Breton waters before the team heads to the Isle of Wight at the beginning of September to support a partner at the Ellen Mac Arthur Foundation. Outings with project partners and the media are also planned in September in La Trinité-sur-Mer, there are still a few sailing sessions available for team building or an immersion back-to-school seminar aboard the Trimaran of the Circular Economy and Ocean Protection.
