After taking part in La Route du Rhum, the circular economy trimaran led by Romain Pilliard is back at sea this fall. The trimaran Use It Again! left the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer and set sail for Marseille in the Mediterranean to continue its mission of promoting the circular economy and raising awareness of ocean protection alongside the HLD Group and the HLD fund for Mediterranean.

Launched a little over a year ago, the Use It Again! had been highlighted on the last Route du Rhum. By finishing 4th in the Ultimate category at the helm of his fully recycled giant trimaran, Romain Pilliard and his team have proven that a successful project can be integrated into a circular economy. At all scales, in all areas, thinking about things differently is possible!

The HLD Fund for the Mediterranean is an endowment fund dedicated to the protection of the environment in the Mediterranean. Its creation dates back to 2018, and was carried out by the HLD group, an investment group founded eight years earlier. The objective of this endowment fund is to support projects for the protection of the Mediterranean and to raise awareness of the environmental issues at the heart of this region, with the aim of participating in the development of solutions responding to the threats that impact the entire basin. ecologically Mediterranean. After its passage in the Mediterranean, the trimaran will return to its home port before embarking on winter work to prepare for the first sporting objective for 2020: participation in the legendary single-handed transatlantic between Brest and Charleston: The Transat.
