Qualified for the Route du Rhum!QUALIFIED! Francis Le Goff, the race director of La Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe has officially validated Romain's qualification for the famous solo transatlantic race that will start from Saint-Malo on November 6th.

The race notice states that each skipper must complete a course of 1,200 miles on his boat alone including a minimum of 120 miles in strong wind and sea.

From the departure from Papeete on April 29 to the arrival in Port Moresby on May 15, the skipper of Use It Again! by Extia had covered 4523 miles alone and that's without counting the 5,400 miles it still has to travel to Cape Town in South Africa.

As a reminder, the theoretical distance of the Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe is 3510 miles. The 21,850 miles covered since the start of this Westabout World Tour is a good training for Romain!
