4/01/22: Start of the Round the World Upside Down

12/15/21: Conveying to Lorient, the starting point for the Record

10/12/21 : Ambiance stand-by

17/11/21: Marking of clothes

The branding of the team's clothing is also part of the preparation for this Record Attempt.

13/11/21: Julien Mignot on board the trimaran

@Julien Mignot. As the departure approaches, the sessions are following each other, and Julien Mignot came on board.

08/11/21: Training sessions for Romain and Alex

@Antoine Dujoncquoy. The training sessions are resuming and intensifying.

04/11/21: Masting of the trimaran

After checking the entire mast, all the rigging and the electronics, the mast was reinstalled on the trimaran. This is always a tricky manoeuvre when the mast is 30m long.

10/31/21: Physical preparation

We're taking advantage of the calmer days to do a little sport. Especially as the sailing is on hold while the mast is being checked.

28/10/21: Dismasting of the trimaran

Check of the mast and its components. The team will be checking and modifying what needs to be done to make sure it is as reliable as possible and will hold up throughout this Westabout Round the World Record Attempt.

23/10/21: Pictures from the air

Navigation session captured by @Arcosoon production.

19/10/21: Partners navigation

The months of September and October give way to sailing with the project partners!

13/10/21: New life for an old sail

This is the story of a sail that after only a few hours of sailing ended up folded up in a container in the southern hemisphere. It was no longer of use to its owner and one day the Use It Again! team got hold of it. She came to France by boat and now finds herself for a second life doing the most beautiful sailing there is: the Round the World Tour.

08/10/21: First aid training

Thanks to Didier, Romain's father, and above all surgeon, for this day rich in learning. Romain and Alex learnt how to suture a wound, both with sutures and staples.

05/29/21 : ChangeNOW event guest

This year from his trimaran Use It Again! Romain was able to participate in the ChangeNOW conference. In video with the skipper Alexia BARRIER and the glaciologist Heidi SEVESTRE; both committed and ambassadors of the event.
