NEWS: DAY 1
Eighteen hours after the start, the Trimaran Use It Again! is progressing at 12 knots in the Bay of Biscay at the latitude of Bordeaux. As expected, Romain and Alex had to deal with a weaker southerly wind during the night but should touch up a stronger northwesterly flow during the day to get around the Spanish tip.
” It shakes this morning, the sea is rough. We reduced the sails to preserve the boat” explains Alex Pella this morning.
” They had a rough night with a few squalls and turned as expected in the soft around 7:30 am this morning. All is well on board, they are currently faster than the initial routing”, says Christian Dumard, ground router.
