NAVIGUER AU SERVICE D’UN PROJET SCIENTIFIQUE UNIQUE AU MONDE

More than ever, the oceans are under pressure from human economic activities. They continue to develop, with a more or less strong level of environmental impact.

For this, it is important to deploy more observatories at sea globally to collect even more data and thus provide a much finer view of what the oceans are experiencing due to fisheries, plastics and global warming. and underwater noise pollution.

Recording sounds in the oceans is one of the current urgent needs. Sounds coming from cetaceans to better understand populations and their movements, but also sounds created by the engines of transport and military ships, oil drilling, etc.

> ACTIONS : 

Le trimaran USE IT AGAIN et le monocoque USE IT AGAIN for YOUTH enregistrent le bruit des océans et des cétacés tout au long des navigations (depuis 2022 à bord du trimaran). Une 1ère sur un TOUR DU MONDE  avec le programme du trimaran USE IT AGAIN.

> OBJECTIF :

Réaliser une première mondiale en créant une cartographie sonore de tous les océans en collaboration avec le spécialiste mondial, le Professeur Olivier ADAM (Université Paris Sorbonne)
