wait again and again…

On Sunday night, Romain and Alex learned that the option to leave on Monday was no longer one.  Indeed, the weather files confirm too muscular conditions and especially in case of problem, the sailors would no longer have any solution to reach Cook Bay or the land, the depression of Tuesday-Wednesday would then be between them and the coast generating waves of 8 meters and gusts to more than 45 knots.

The first weather window available to them for the time being would be from Thursday 10. This is a blow to the sailors who continue to survey Cook Bay in every nook and cranny to try to find the place where they will be most sheltered on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On board, Romain and Alex keep a shift pace to try to rest as best as possible and continue the meticulous inspection of the boat since the departure from Cook Bay will be done anyway in tonic conditions with a very strong and very short sea. Very demanding conditions for sailors and for the trimaran Use It Again!
