Ocean Consideration

Nineteen days at sea since departing from Port Moresby for Romain on the Trimaran Use It Again! by Extia.

I am well at sea, I love to watch the swell, the waves that cross, which are never the same color, the same size, the same shape. I like to look at the sky, the clouds, the grains that pass.

I keep wondering how Man on earth could break down the planet as he does. I tell myself even more since Ushuaia where everything has been questioned. How can we get here! For 70 years, since the post-war period, how has anything like this been done, despite the cries of alarm, despite the circular economy that dates back to the Treaty of Rome in 1957. It is an old concept, the circular economy, we have always known that the linear economy is not good and that we will go straight into the wall. Why Man never wanted to listen, did not want to hear. I don't understand...

On board, I have my little rhythm of lonely, single! I am in countries where there are not many boats, I saw one yesterday at the AIS, and it had been 8 days since I had seen any. So I sleep pretty well. What I miss the most is the conviviality of sharing a meal and my daughter... She's two and a half years old, it changes so fast at that age. I feel like I'm missing important moments, but I'm lucky to be here today.
