Departure on Thursday from Tahiti!

The Westabout World Tour against the winds and the dominant currents continues for the trimaran of the circular economy and the protection of the Ocean, on the way to the Westabout World Record (East > West). Out of record, after a Ushuaia-Tahiti stage in doubles, Romain Pilliard, the skipperUse It Again ! by Extia will set off solo this Thursday, April 28 from Papeete to Cape Town in South Africa, a navigation of 11,000 miles via the Torres Strait in Australia.  

Installation of a more efficient autopilot power plant for the solitaire, verification of the rigging, reinforcement of some sails, repair of the wind turbine and trampoline, the technical team of trimaranUse It Again! by Extia,moored in the Marina Taina de Papeete, carried out a complete check-up of the boat. After a test navigation on Tuesday in Papeete, the trimaran Use It Again! by Extia and its skipper will start Thursday afternoon from Tahiti (in the night from Thursday to Friday, Paris time)
