“We're heading to the Canaries”

A 20h, Use It Again! team is progressing at 18 knots in eastern Madeira. After three days on this attempt at a Round the World Record Upside Down, Romain and Alex are just over 300 miles ahead of Jean-Luc Van Den Heede's time, the two sailors having only one goal in mind. for the moment: to preserve their mount.

Romain's words this evening: “Hello everyone, the sea is starting to widen, it is quite messy, there are about 3 meters of wave. We have between 27 and 33 knots and we are progressing under Main Sail with 1 reef and J1. The boat is going well and needs to be rehabilitated. The sky begins to cleanse. The clouds are starting to look like the trade winds. It’s a special light, it’s superb! We head for the Canaries and we slide well! We've been doing a good VMG, since our jibe at the start of last night. We are happy with this start to the Round the World. ”
