Such is life in Ushuaia…

"When I wake up in the morning in my bunk, I sometimes wonder what I'm doing there or rather where I am! By the time the boat is out of the water, I always sleep on board because there are quite strong winds in the area, the boat also has 2 major water inlets and I pump constantly to prevent it doesn't take on hundreds of extra liters of water, I need to watch over him and make sure I feel good there... For the moment, my only foray into the city was to buy me some decent pants of this name, apart from my raincoats and shorts which are not really appropriate given the temperature, I had nothing! Things are accelerating, I have confirmed that the only crane in the area is capable of lifting the boat out of the water, the yacht club is ok to rent us its land to do the work there and a team of Argentinians and of French should join me by the weekend. Today, I also prepared the boat for its dry run and I dismantled the mainsail and the headsails. I am in constant contact with my team ashore, the job-list is becoming clearer and constantly growing. This worksite at the end of the world is an adventure within an adventure! I also take the time to savor the magical colors that Ushuaïa offers and I talk a lot with the locals, Ushuaia is one of those places in the world where everyone has a little out of the ordinary life. I feed on their stories… It makes me feel good… Here there is nothing but there are solutions for everything. I like it ! »
