It's chatting on the Atlantic! At the end of the day yesterday, Use It Again by Extia crossed paths with another legendary boat, the Cigare Rouge skippered by sailor Catherine Chabaud, a monohull with which she was the first woman to complete the Vendee Globe in 1997. “We spoke for a few minutes with Catherine, it was very nice. It's always nice these little moments exchanged by chance in the middle of nowhere. She has a lot of merit, she continues to write a very beautiful story with this boat.”
This morning, Romain is gliding at 19 knots 1,800 miles from the finish. All is well on board, the first ETAs give an arrival during the night of 23 to 24 November.
